YOGA WORKSHOP FOR HEALTHY SPINE

The spine is the root of our body.  We are young as long as our spine is healthy… age is just a number. 
Learn how to use yoga to increase strength and flexibility in the back, focusing on the relationship between the spinal column, pelvis, and shoulder blades.
Beneficial classic and modified asanas for back conditions, including lower-back pain, disc disease, sciatica, upper-back and neck tightness, and scoliosis.

This program will addresses

*Therapeutic Yoga for a healthy spine

*Spinal and back anatomy – sacral, lumbar, thoracic, and cervical spines.
Anatomy of the hips, and musculature of the abdomen and legs, and how they support back health.

*Learn how to modify basic standing, seated, inverted, and supine asanas in order to promote low back health, manage pain, and live free from discomfort.

*Common back conditions and injuries, pelvic misalignment issues, frozen shoulders, sacral joint dysfunction, and spinal disk conditions. 
Sequencing asana practice for back health.

Pranayama enhances our immunity, flushes out impurities from the body, and keeps us protected from sickness.  Breathing is one of the most powerful tools on the yogic journey. It helps  to manage stress so we can live a more positive, mentally and physically healthy Life.
